Bag Pack 2011
A dozen Air Cadets from 209 (West Bridgford) Squadron made a big effort towards raising money for their Sqn funds by spending Saturday at the Co-op in West Bridgford helping customers pack their bags.

Their combined effort collected £410. A special mention should be made to Cadet Alex Hopewell who broke two bones in his foot practising for the Wing Cross Country but still put the effort in and turned up and did his bit!
Jill Tring, Chair of 209’s Civilian Committee said “Thank you to the customers of CO-OP West Bridgford for their donations at a bag packing event. These funds go towards the cadets of 209 Squadron accessing sport activities, flying, gliding and provide equipment for Duke of Edinburgh Awards.”
