Flying Officer Steve Richards of 209 (West Bridgford) Squadron has been promoted to Flight Lieutenant after two and a half years in charge. He was handed his new rank tapes by Wing Commander Nigel Dickinson, CO of South and East Midlands Wing at the end of the 209 Sqns Annual Inspection.

Flt Lt Richards said, “I am honoured and proud to receive this promotion. It is fitting to receive it in front of 209s Cadets as their hard work and achievements over the past couple of years has contributed to this promotion. I look forward to the challenges ahead and the many activities we have planned for the coming year.”
