Getting the Blues
Four Air Cadets from 209 (West Bridgford) Sqn have received Sport’s ‘Blue’ awards for representing South and East Midlands Wing at sport.

Corporal Serena Linley received her for playing Hockey, Cpl Michael Disney for Football and Sergeant James Greenhalgh for both swimming and football. However Flight Sergeant Joe Hammond received a coveted Triple Blue for representing the Wing at athletics, swimming and rugby. Joe said of being awarded the Triple Blue, “I’ve always enjoyed sport and it is an honour to represent the Wing and Central and East Region.”
